We are here today to show you a preview of the early release of the Ornate Garden Suite.  As a demonstrator, you get early access to Ornate Garden Suite products. During preorder, products are limited to one per demonstrator for non-consumable items and two per demonstrator for consumable items.

Now, after all that information on to my projects. I've made two cards for you today with this beautiful vintage, floral suite. Don't you just love the cheerful spring theme, and  the variety and scope of its beautiful, coordinated product offering. This suite is just amazing!!


Both of my cards use one of the dies from the Ornate Layers Dies. These dies are so detailed and intricate and they look amazing layered together or used individually. I've used the biggest die from the set and cut it on Gold Foil Cardstock. I've then marked in the inner corner of the die cut piece and trimmed out the center to create an ornate frame. Using the Gold Foil really gives the die cut piece that something 'extra' and adds to that vintage, ornate look of the suite.


My first card I've started with Shimmery White cardstock base layers and then embossed the top layer with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. This embossing folder gives you gorgeous little 3D flowers imprinted into your cardstock. It really is a gorgeous embossing folder and I can see it will be one of those folders that can coordinate with any project making it very versatile. Once the top layer was embossed I splatterd the Mint Macaron Stampin' Write Marker to add an extra visual layer.


I've then layered some pieces of the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper next and then the gorgeous floral image, embossed in Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder, from the Ornate Style Stamp set. I've then used an Aqua Painter to colour it in using the colours Mossy Meadow, Crushed Curry, So Saffron, Blushing Bride and Teracotta Tile. I've then finished the card with the big 'Thank You' from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set, this too has been heat embossed with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder.  Also finishing off this card is some of the Terracotta Tile Ribbon from the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack, Linen Thread and the Gilded Gems. 


 To change up the look from my first card I've swapped out the embossed layer with some of the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Pape. This sheet of DSP is Mint Macaron in colour with some ornate gold foil. And it just looks AMAZING!!! The Mint and the Gold is such a stunning combo. I can see myself using this one again. I'm loving it lots!!! Other colours in the DSP sheets (not seen in my project here) include Early Espresso, Old Olive, Terracotta Tile, Whisper White and a BRAND NEW 2020 - 2021 In Colour!!! Super exciting to start to see the new In Colours for the next Annual Catalogue.


I've finished this card off with similar products to the first, but just changing a few things up with the different orientation.

    Gorgeous! I love the way you've used the diagonal of ribbon in behind the big bouquet. It's dramatic and really leads the eye down through the flowers to the sentiment. :-)

    I was so wowed by your card base of first card, I didn't notice anything else! These are also beautiful cards . I love that you showed us more of the SDSP. When looking at a catalog, it's so much harder to see the papers than any other part of a suite. I'm really loving these papers as well. I'm so glad you used these in your projects.
