Hello, Hello! Welcome to this months Fancy Friday Blog Hop!
If you've not seen the Fancy Friday Blog Hop, we are a group of past and present Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Members. We have a blog hop once a month with everything fun and fancy.
This month we are making cards with co-ordinating envelopes to get ready to send out for the 'Mail a Card Monday' challenge. Why not challenge yourself to make a couple of cards a week and send them every Monday throughout the year. Let's get more of our gorgeous cards that we make sent out in the post.
Maybe you need to send thank you cards for Christmas or birthday cards, or someone just feeling down and having a bad day? Let us kick off the year not only creating the cards but sending them!
I've played around with my most all time favourite suite from the new 2018 Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalogue - Sweet Soirre. It's all time gorgeous, all time pretty and all time fancy. All the things that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE in crafting products! I'm a real sucker for pretty and shiny things!
The one of the most fabulous things in this suite is the Sweet Soiree Embellishment kit, which I've used mostly on my cards today.
The shiny accents, gorgeous embellishments and the silver foil die cuts make this kit super fabulous to make a beautiful card! Just pop out the die cuts, use some of the trim from the kit, add a few products that you already have on hand and Hey Presto! You've got a quick and beautiful card put together! Quick cards will make the whole 'Mail a Card Monday' challenge even more easier to achieve and accomplish.
Mixed up the elements from embellishment kit with the equally gorgeous Sweet Soiree Specialty DSP. The hand painted designs of this paper are just divine and the silver foil accents on one side just make you want to swoon!! So, so, beautiful!
To make a quick co-ordinating envelope use DSP to pretty everything up! Just lay the flap of the envelope on the DSP, trace around it, cut it out and stick it on the envelope. By getting a gorgeous envelope too, it makes the whole receiving of a hand made card even more special.
Accented the envelope here in the same way with the beautiful Sweet Soiree DSP! Can see I'm going to be using more of that! Gorgeous!
Now to write a little message in these cards, get them addressed to pop in the post for Monday! I am one that really needs a challenge like this as I make the cards but am terrible at sending them. Am really going to try and implement this challenge for myself and get those cards in the post!
Now on to the ever beautiful Cindy Schuster to see her 'Mail a Card Monday' creations!
