2020 Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you may have already seen my exciting news but I wanted to share it to my blog supporters as well. I've been waiting for what feels like forever for this to be announced and last weekend at the Stampin' Up!® On Stage Local demonstrator only event that was held in Sydney, my now not so little secret was let out of the bag.

I have the great honour of being selected to be on the 2020 Stampin' Up!® Artisan Design Team and I am beyond thrilled to be chosen again! To have been on it once was fantastic, a second time - unbelievable,  but now to have been chosen a third time is an opportunity of a life time. I'm still pinching myself to have been asked back again! I'm feeling so blessed, so grateful and so thankful to be part of this amazing team with an amazing talented bunch of 16 Stampin' Up!® demonstrators from all over the world. I can’t wait to get creating and just sharing what I love.

This is the beautiful, personalised memento that all the Artisan Design Team Members were awarded, which included a Welcome letter, a beautiful engraved bracelet from Tiffany's and a personalised Artisan Design Team stamp.

What does it mean to be on the Artisan Design Team? As an Artisan, we have been selected by the Stampin' Up!® company, and then Stampin' Up!® will provide myself, and my 15 fellow teammates, with current products so that we might create beautiful things to inspire you! We have a once a month blog hop, that will begin in January 2020. We also will be creating blog posts for the Stampin' Up!® Corporate Blog and also sharing some tips and tricks using Stampin' Up!® products for the Stampin' Up!® Instagram and Facebook accounts.

This year's team includes 16 demonstrators from all over the world. Make sure that you check out their blogs and follow them for all the latest creations using Stampin' Up!® products.

I really do hope that you'll follow along with the monthly hops throughout 2020 and be inspired by what we share!

A BIG thank you to all who sent me messages of congratulations! I am very overwhelmed by every one's love and support and I can't wait to get creating and share this Artisan year with you all!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop | Toile Tidings Suite

Hello there stamping friends! Welcome to the Stampin' Up!Artisan Design Team Blog Hop, where this month we are all about the beautifully festive Toile Tidings Suite.

This suite is traditional in its Garden Green and Real Red colours. The Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper features traditional toile designs, the Toile Christmas Stamp Set has the gorgeous Cardinal Bird combined with sophisticated seasonal greetings and then the Tidings All Around Stamp set and coordinating dies have fun wreath tidings of comfort and joy to everyone! Combined with the two stamp sets in this suite and DSP is the beautiful and stunning Toile Tidings Gift Wrap, two gorgeous matching ribbons and cute embellishments. There is so much to love in this amazing suite!

One thing that really stuck out to me in this amazing suite is the stunning wreath die from the
All-Around Wreath Dies that coordinate with the Tidings All Around Stamp Set. I've got three different projects for you today with three different looks on creating with the wreath die.

My first project uses the wreath die cut from Water Colour paper and then 'coloured' over with Garden Green Ink and an Aqua Painter. I love the mottled look to the wreath with the variations of colour, from the lightest shade of Garden Green to the full strength. Once the wreath was dry I painted over Clear Wink of Stella to add to the shimmery and festive feel of the card.

Layered with the watercolour wreath is the wreath image, from the Tidings All Around Stamp Set,  embossed in Gold Stampin' Emboss powder on Shimmery White Cardstock, a Vellum Die Cut Wreath and then the watercolour Wreath on top. Don't you just love soft and pretty look?

The second project for today again layers the wreath die cut but this time I've embossed the top layer with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. This just give the die cut some added texture and dimension. How cute does the wreath look with some of the Cherry Cobbler Rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels? Very Christmassy! Layer the wreath with some embossed vellum and some Gold Glimmer die cuts and you have one gorgeous project.

The last project is a gorgeous little gift box using the Gold Mini Pizza Boxes. These Pizza Boxes are so stunning and will make any gift look so extra. I've layered three different colours here for the wreath die cuts - Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party and Garden Green. On the top layer, using a sponge dauber, swipe the edges with Versamark Ink and then heat emboss some Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder over that.  Slide the belly band off with all the layers and then you'll be able to get to the gift inside.

I've stuck with the same elements, embellishments and trim for all three projects for a coordinated look. The sentiment banner just screamed out to me to use with the chalkboard technique and adding things like Linen Thread and Gold Glimmer Paper always add to that 'special' look. These projects I've created today would even make for a fun 'extra special' class or some projects for a customer/demo crafting day.

Its amazing how that we all are using the same products yet we all have created something very different from each other. So make sure that you hop on now to Stesha Bloodhart in the U.S. for her super amazing projects. I think I say this every time but you will not be disappointed with what she has for you today. That girl is just amazing!!!

TGIF Challenges | #TGIFC237 Sketch Challenge

Hello there stamping friends! Today I'm playing along and entering my card in the challenge over at TGIF Challenges | TGIF #237. I've not had much motivation to create the last few weeks. What I find what helps me to get out of a crafting slump is to participate in a challenge or two. And what better way to help get those creative ideas flowing is with a sketch challenge.

Don't you just love this sketch from TGIF??!! It has a basic design element and then it gives you so much room to do what you feel lead to create.

I've decided to turn the sketch vertical and go for a Christmas inspired creation. I've pulled out the super cute #Elfie Stamp Set from the Stampin' Up! 2019 Holiday Catalogue. This is such a fun stamp set and fabulous for colouring!!

Because I've used bright and bold colours on the elf image I thought that it would pair well with a crisp white base layer. Too many colours on a card can sometimes be a hot mess. I've combined with the white a little bit of the Cherry Cobbler DSP from the Night Before Christmas 6" x 6" pack. Just enough pattern to not take over.

To create a snow fall look on the Whisper White, I've splattered Clear Wink of Stella and then  added a few of the Snowflake Sequins. Just a little bit of something to break up the white background and to add to the Christmas feel.

I've then finished the card off with one of the sentiments from the #Elfie Stamp set and some Whisper White Baker's Twine and some Silver Metallic Thread. Super cute and Super fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

This suite is perfect to use beyond the Holiday Season and the images from the gorgeous stamp set is perfect to use for other occasions like birthdays, thank-yous, sympathy cards. It can be used for anything really.

I've used the stamp set, dies and some of the embellishments for a Birthday card and a gorgeous gift box. I've wanted to colour in the rose image since I first got my hands on this suite and that is what I've done for you today.

I've given the rose a whole different look by first stamping and embossing it with White Stampin' Emboss Powder on water colour paper. The rose image I've coloured it with an Aqua Painter and Flirty Flamingo Ink.

The Holly berries looked like the Australian Wattle when it's in full bloom in Spring. The bright little 'wattle' flowers just pop right off the card when coloured with Crushed Curry Ink.

Because the big rose image is so bold and has so much going on the card really doesn't need much to accent it. Some Linen Thread, a piece of the Gold Shimmer Ribbon, Gold Glimmer Enamel Dots and some Rhinestone Basic Jewels. So pretty!

I've used nearly all of the same elements on this Kraft Pillow Gift Box. The rose image looks just as amazing die cut and placed on a 3-D item as it does on a card.

Finish the box off with some ribbon and trim and this will be one well received gift box. I know that if someone gave me a gift box decorated like this I would just love it!

I do hope that I've shown you today that this suite can be used to Christmas and beyond and it's not just for the Holiday season.
