Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop | Best Dressed Suite with Sale-a-bration Second Release Blog Hop

Hello again stamping friends. Welcome to this month's edition of the Stamapin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop. This month we are showing you with a purchase of a few Stampin' Up! products, what you can earn from the Sale-a-bration Second Release promotion and then from there what you can make with these products.

International readers please use the translate feature, found in the side bar, to translate to your language.

Sale-A-Bration is such an exciting time of the year—and it just got even better, with more fantastic products to earn with the Sale-a-bration Second Release! More products mean more creative possibilities to experiment with! Who doesn't love more creative possibilities?!

The products purchased from the Best Dressed Suite in my first project on the left will earn you for free the So Very Vellum Speciality Designer Series Paper used in the project on the right. I've embellished the gift bag with the products from the Best Dressed Suite. This will then give you another opportunity to use the products initially purchased incorporated with your freebie.

My first project starts with Petal Pink and Whisper White cardstock base layers with the top layer embossed with the Subtle 3D embossing folder. This is such amazing embossing folder when you want to add some texture, but you don't want anything too over the top. Added to the embossed texture is some Gold heat embossing splatter for more laying of texture.

I've then used two patterns from the Best Dressed 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper and die cut two circles to start the layering focal point. Next on top of that is the super gorgeous Mint Macaron 1/8" Sheer Linen Ribbon. I love that this ribbon is thin as it makes it easier to add to any project without being too much.

Next added to the layering is some flowers fussy cut from the DSP and some die cut from the
Dressed to Impress Photopolymer Stamp. The mix of  the DSP with the stamped images really makes for a fun eclectic look.

Last up is the perfume image from the stamp set, the fun 'Hello Fabulous' sentiment from the same stamp set and the gorgeous and fun  Best Dressed Tassel, which I trimmed to fit better on the card.

With the products purchased to use in my first project, you can earn the So Very Vellum Speciality Designer Series Paper for free. Spend $90 on product from any catalogue and its all yours! It comes in three different colours - Pool Party, Purple Posy, Soft Sea Foam all with the same embossed design. I've used it here to make a super cute gift bag. There are many tutorials online to make any bag size that you want depending on what you need it for. How cute would it be to make the same bag in all three vellum colours? Super gorgeous. I chose the Purple Posy colour as the DSP from the Best Dress Suite has Purple Posy in it and this made for a more coordinated look.

I started with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies for the tag. I punched the end with the
Banner Triple Punch, embossed the tag with the Subtle 3D Embossing folder and then cut the tag in half to elongate it. Where the tag has been cut in half that is where I layered all the pieces to hide that I cut it.

When making a bag out of the So Very Vellum score and fold very gently.  Pressing too hard will make the score lines crack when you try to make the bag and put it together.

Using the same DSP patterns, DSP fussy cut and stamped images, ribbon and trim really matches the gift bag to the card. Got to love things coordinating! I've attached the card with the Mini Library Clips but you can punch some holes in the top of the bag, tie with some ribbon and then attach the card with some twine or linen thread.

Instead of using the So Very Vellum Speciality Designer Series Paper as a gift bag, use it as the front layer of a card and then add the 'tag' on to your card.

For every $90 or $180 AUD you spend, you choose a free item from either the first and/or second Sale-A-Braton brochure that matches the level you spent. Spend $90 on from the January–June Mini Catalogue or any other current catalogue, and earn the So Very Vellum So Very Vellum Speciality Designer Series Paper for FREE.

I've listed the products used in my card, which is enough to get the So Very Vellum
Speciality Designer Series Paper. Add a few other products like cardstock, ink and adhesives to bring your total up to $180 in product and you can get yourself another item for free with the So Very Vellum. Super fun to get two freebies!
