Welcome to a super exciting Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop. We have some super amazing creations for you using some super exciting new products even with a sneak peek of some of the new 2017 - 2019 In Colours! EEEK!!!! Sooo exciting!!
We are sharing with you colourful and exotic products from the
Eastern Palace Suite two months before they’re released in the 2017-2018 Annual catalogue!
Eastern Palace Premier Bundle
Currently these products are on pre-order only for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. But If you love these products as much as we do they will be available to Stampin' Up! Customers May 1st 2017.
For Customers :" Here is a sneak peek of the Eastern Palace Suite. Exclusive for a limited time are the Started and Premier Bundles, designed for both for beginning and avid crafters."
For Demonstrators: "Preorder the Eastern Palace Suite Starter and Premier Bundles April 4 - 30th. Get your hands on these colourful and exotic products to prepare for customer launch May 1."
I've used the cardstock from the Eastern Palace Cardstock Pack that co-ordinates with the Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper. This card stock pack includes two of the new 2017 - 2019 In Colours - Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig. Swoon!!! These colours are just stunning! When you order either the Starter Bundle or the Premier Bundle you receive these two colours in the Stampin' Up! Classic Ink Pads as well as another colour - Lemon Lime Twist.
The other colour in this cardstock pack is a current 2016 - 2018 In Colour - Dapper Denim, which also features in the Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper.
My cards today also feature the amazing Eastern Medallion Thinlits. These thinlits feature some nesting thinlits to create these intricate medallions as well as thinlits to die cut some of the stamp images from the Eastern Beauty Photopolymer stamp set. Some of the thinlits only partial cut to give a bit of a peek-a-boo/window effect.
These Eastern Medallion Thinlits that I've used today are the ones that you nest together to create these detailed die cuts. The circle and the floral looking one both consist of three pieces so you could just use one piece or all three like my cards here today.
Some of the cardstock in these die cuts has allowed me to use some of the super small images from the Eastern Beauty stamp set to embellish the medallions. I've embossed the small images with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder. Everything gold just goes so well with this opulent suite!
Tranquil Tide
The edges of this medallion I have also embossed with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder. I masked off the centre of the medallion with a scrap circle die cut and then used a sponge dauber to 'dab' Versamark ink on each 'petal'. I then poured over the embossing powder and gave it a quick blast with the Heat Tool to melt the powder.
Fresh Fig
If you find that you are getting embossing powder everywhere even if you have used the Embossing Buddy, 'wipe' off the excess powder with a very fine and very small paint brush. It just flicks that excess powder right off. Be careful not to flick off the powder where you want it to be though.
Dapper Denim
These two circle medallion cards have been embellished with a small piece of the Gold patten DSP from the Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper. Two of the sheets in this DSP pack have a gold foil pattern just on one side and the rest of the DSP is double sided with some gorgeous patterns. Gorgeous rich colours with stunning designs.
All of the cards have been finished off with some Gold Stampin' Up! ribbon and trims and also some of the gorgeous linen thread.
Just how stunning are those medallion thinlits??!! I just love the detail to them and I'm looking forward to using each of the nesting pieces individually as well as more of nesting them together.
Just a reminder that these products are available to demonstrators only from 4 - 30th April and available to customers from 1st - 31th May. If you’re a customer and you just can’t wait, talk to your demonstrator about joining their team (or for information on joining in Australia, click here) and you can get it early too!
I hope that I've given you a little bit of inspiration with this suite. Put this suite on your wish list now!
