Just Add Ink #420 | Just Add Inspiration

Hey there stamping friends! It's time for a new card challenge over at Just Add Ink. It's a bright and fun inspiration picture and has lots of colour.

You might be inspired by one or two colours from the picture or all of them. I've gone with all of them or as many as I could. The colours from the Stampin' Up! Brights Colour Collection seem to fit the colour scheme of the picture and I've teamed them up with the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp set from the 2018 - 2019 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. The Brights Collection make a fabulous rainbow of colour!

I've used the Stamparatus again to make the fun 'rainbow' panel, to stamp the stars down the cardstock. Using the Stampin' Shammy to clean the ink after each colour makes changing the colours when using the Stamparatus a very quick and super easy process. Just ink up, stamp, clean and your done! Literally as quick as that!

 

Even though the inspiration picture is bright and intense, the bright colours that I've used are just a little touch of colour with not being too overpowering as too much.

I've heat embossed the sentiment with White Stampin' Emboss Powder on to Basic Black Cardstock and then die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. 

Tip - When embossing with White Stampin' Emboss Powder, stamp the sentiment or image with Whisper White Craft Ink. The craft ink stays 'wet' for long enough to pour the embossing powder over and if the embossing powder misses any of the stamped image or sentiment then white will come through the missed section and not the cardstock colour when using just Versamark. You get a better end result with the White Stampin' Emboss Powder and the Whisper White Craft Ink.
