Just Add Ink #492 | Sketch Challenge

Hello there stamping friends! Welcome, Welcome. It's so good to have you here. It is Friday so that means that its time for the new challenge over at Just Add Ink.

This week its a fantastic sketch designed by fellow JAI team member Jackie Aitken. It's fairly straight forward but enough to get those creative ideas going and that creative brain working.

Today I'm using products from the Stampin' Up! Botanical Prints Product Medley. Have you seen these products yet? It's found on pg. 61 of the Stampin' Up! 2020 Jan - Jun Mini Catalogue and has just about everything you need to get creating. Check it out HERE. All you need to have in your stash already is ink, cardstock, paper trimmer and adhesive and then with this product medley you are able to get crafting as soon as you have this product medley box in your hot little hands.

To start my card I cut all the layers of the card and then using my electronic cutter I cut an oval shape in the black and white striped DSP. Layered behind the DSP is one of the Pretty Peacock laser-cut overlays from the product medley and then behind that I have layered some Pretty Peacock cardstock. I'm so loving this Pretty Peacock, Black and White colour combo! Isn't it just striking??!!

Layered over the base layer elements is some of the pieces from the Botanical Prints Product Medley as well as some extra ribbon and trim, like Whisper White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, Linen Thread, Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Ribbon. Also, some of the other product not found in the product medley, but which I thought teamed well with this project is the Basic Black Scalloped Element from the Peacful Poppies Elements and the Gold Sequins from the Peacful Poppies Sequins.
