Early Espresso Floral Wings

It's been awesome so far this month showing all the creations I made for my Catalogue Launch Party. I'm itching for you to see them all and just want to show them to you all now. But I did decide to do them one by one!  There will be three more posts after this one and then all the Catalogue Launch posts will be done. Sad I know. I'll just have to have another creating spree and do whole heap of other creations. 

Today's card again shows the Floral Wings Stamp Set. This time using the sweet colour combo Early Espresso, Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzaz.

The background embossed panel is the Fluttering Embossing Folder. It's a stunning folder! I hope this one stays around for a while. And it goes perfectly with the Floral Wings Stamp set.

The butterfly is finished off with the Gold Metallic Thread and the Gold Basic Metal Buttons. I really love that thread! I can see myself using a lot of it.

Don't you just love how the Whisper White panel breaks up the Kraft background to provide some contrast?

Pacific Point Pretty Petals

 Here is another creation that I made using the Pretty Petals DSP for part of my display from my new Catalogue Launch a nearly a month ago now. Boy does time go quickly when you're having fun! 

I really love the blacks and coral colours of this DSP but also the blues a greens and today's creation uses the blue and green colours of this DSP, Pacific Point and Old Olive.

I really love the pattern of the DSP and I didn't want to cover it with layers of cardstock so I overlaid vellum instead and that also gives the DSP a bit more of a subtle look. 

The card base is my favourite cardstock at the moment Shimmery White and how gorgeous do those In Colour Blossom Accents look. This one is the Cucumber Crush one with some of the Metallic Gold Thread behind it.

I've embossing the 'It's Your Birthday' with Gold embossing powder and then to stick the vellum down I've tried to hide the adhesive behind the sentiment so that you can't see it. I'm a bit anal like that with being able to see the adhesive through the vellum. I like to try and hide it as best as I can! 

It's quite a Clean and Simple card but I really like the elegance of it.

Kraft and Gold 'A Whole Lot of Lovely"

With all the ideas out in Internet land these days its so easy to type in our favourite Stampin' Up! product into Google search but do you ever go to the Stampin' Up! Annual catalogue as your first port of call for inspiration! If not, then you should! It's full of stunning ideas and beautiful colour combinations and will easily get those creative juices flowing! 

This card I'm showing you today, the colour combo came from one of the stunning pictures in the Stampin' Up! Annual catalogue. See if you can find which page my inspiration cam from.

 This is another one of my creations from my Annual Catalogue Launch Party. The stamp set is again, A Whole Lot of Lovely. Its a really gorgeous and fabulous hostess set. I've used two of the images from the set for my card today.

I used the floral stamp, embossed it with Gold Stampin' Emboss powder, to create my own background DSP as such. I used the kraft card stock for my card base and because the kraft cardstock is a little bit more rough than our smooth cardstock the embossing turned out a little bit rougher than I would have liked.

 The colours I've teamed up with the kraft and gold accents are Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay.

I think I will be using this colour combo again. I just love how bright and fresh it feels.

The Stamp Review Crew - Sprinkles of Life Edition

 It's Monday again , they come around so quickly, so that means it's time for another Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop. I'm so happy to have you here. This hop we are using the ever cute Sprinkles of Life stamp set and it has a co-ordinating punch too!! Did you know that for every purchase of this stamp set, Stampin' Up! will donate $3.00 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. To date Stampin' Up! have donated over $1,000,000 to RMHC. WOW, Right?! That's making a difference through stamping!

For those hopping along for the first time, we are a group of International Stampin' Up! demonstrators and we have a blog hop of the first and third Monday of each month. Each hop showcases one stamp set and we like to show you lots of different creative ways to use it!

 I've made two cards today for the hop showing this gorgeous set and the first one is a bit of a homage to my very favourite ice cream flavour, Peppermint Choc-Chip!!!

In those summer months, when we are visiting an ice cream store, you can guarantee that I will have chosen a Peppermint Choc-Chip Ice Cream over any other flavour. I'm a sucker for anything mint flavoured!

 I used the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set to create my 'choc-chips' and I embossed them with clear embossing powder to give them that shiny look.

I really wanted to give the cone a golden look instead of a brown look and I got the idea from one of the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Members, Allison Okamitsu, to stamp the cone on Water colour paper with Soft Suede ink and then to water colour it with Daffodil Delight and that gives it that golden colour.

My second creation is a sponged scene using the tree from the stamp set.

 I sponged the sky in Soft Sky Ink and the grass in Pear Pizzazz and then used some of the other elements of the stamp set to create a 'spring' type scene.

How gorgeous are those flowers and the apples??!!

Such a gorgeous stamp set and is so versatile for any occasion!

ESAD Annual Catalgoue Blog Hop

The 2015 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue is here and has been live worldwide for nearly a month now! This is the first catalogue that was released in all markets at the same time! Yay! We all get the new goodies at the same time! I just love this amazing catalogue and I hope you love it as much as I do!

To mark is wonderful occasion of a new catalogue my lovely friends and I from the Facebook group ESAD have decided to a Blog Hop to showcase the fabulous products from this awesome catalogue. 

You may have joined me from Kerryn Campbell blog or started here with me. Either way you are in for a treat to see the creativity and imagination of myself and 19 other fellow Australian and New Zealand Stampin' Up! demonstrators. So grab your beverage of choice, get comfortable and get ready for the hop!

For this hop I'm showcasing the new 2015 - 2017 In Colours, which are Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe and Delightful Dijon.

The first creation I've made the same card in each of the different In Colours and some of their co-ordinating products.

How cute are those Blossom Accents???

It doesn't take long to go through a container of these beauties!!! The are stunning! You can put a Pearl Basic Jewel of a Rhinestone Basic Jewel in the centre of them to pretty them up even more.

The last creation is showing the absolutely stunning In Colour Dotted Lace Trim. I have used it on all the creations so far in this hop but I just wanted to show them on their own.

This is not my original idea and I can't remember where the idea came from. If it was you please let me know so I can acknowledge you. I did this idea last year with the 2014 - 2016 In Colour Ribbons for my catalogue launch. Its a really great way to show the new ribbon and what it really looks like. It looks really cute too!

Just Add Ink #269 - Just Add Colour

It's the first Just Add Ink Challenge for July and its an awesome one suggested by the lovely Kim.

One of the new 2015 - 2017 In Colours and an ombre of blues.

Stunning colours, right? Right! Lots to inspire you, right? Right! A great colour combo to create a card, right? Right! So for the life of me why did I find this one so hard???? I think my Mojo has gone on holidays with the kids while they have some time off school for their winter break!!

I eventually got an idea (as I was drifting off to sleep) and went from there.

I've cut 1cm strips of all the colours to use for the challenge and then laid them diagonally across the front panel. Then I cut circles out using the Circle Collection Framelits. If anyone can tell me where my 1-3/4" circle punch is, I would have used that. Maybe its time for a craft room clean up. 

I've used the new Triple Banner Punch to create a banner. I love that thing! Makes it so quick to create a banner, that's for sure!

All finished of with some Gold Metallic Thread, Metallic Assortment Sequins and the Expressions Natural Elements.

The Just Add Ink Design Team have created so many lovely cards with this combo so go check them out and come and join the challenge. We would love to see what you come up with!

Mint Macaron Floral Wings

Here is the next installment in my creations from my catalogue launch party held a few weeks ago. There are more than 10 blog posts with all my creations so to be able to see them all I will tag each post with the tag '2015 Catalgoue Launch'. Just click on that tag at the bottom of the post and all my launch creations will come up.

Today's card is using the fabulous hostess only stamp set 'Floral Wings'. I can't go on enough how stunning this stamp set is. I really love it and the different colour combinations that you can have with the butterfly, flowers and leaves are endless. This is because the stamp set is a 3-step stamp set and each layer is a different stamp.

The colours on my butterfly are Black (Memento Tuxedo Black Ink), Mint Macaron and Gold Embossing! This is a beautiful colour combo and give the card a regal look. Because this is a photopolymer stamp set it makes it so easy to line up each layer because you can see right through each stamp!

Again I've used the Shimmery White Cardstock for the butterfly. It really is beautiful. If you don't like things with too much shimmer and sparkle and want a subtle hint of bling, then this is the cardstock for you. Or you could go all out and use it for your whole card if you want that all round sparkle. Either way you wont be disappointed!
