My 'Something New' is the Birthday Blooms stamp set, which is just perfect to watercolour, and a little bit of the Birthday Bouquet DSP.
I embossed the image with White Embossing Powder on Watercolour Paper and then coloured it in using an aqua painter. I really like this way of watercolouring with the embossed lines. It just means you don't have to be so particular when you are colouring and it just makes it a little 'easier'
I used Pink Pirouette and Melon Mambo for the flower and Old Olive and Mossy Meadow for the leaves. The stamens in the middle I used Daffodil Delight.
The image I then fussy cut by hand and then accented it with some Gold Metallic thread, Crochet Trim and some 1/8" Gold Ribbon. It really didn't need much else to accent it.
