No Calorie Cake!

For my Catalogue Launch Party that was held at the start of July. I wanted to make it a bit of a celebration with this year being the 25th Anniversary of Stampin' Up!.

You can't have a party without a cake either! So what's the best cake you can have at a Stampin' Up! Catalogue Launch Party? A card stock cake! No Calories either!

I had seen a few pictures of these cakes on the World Wide Web and really wanted to make one!
I found a few templates and it was really quite easy to make!

I put some small gifts inside each one for each attendee. Some small sticky notes, some hand made paper clips bows and some lollies as well! It was a hit!

Chalk Talk Thanks

I've been selling a bit of my retired items lately and  like to put a thank you card with the item. This is the thank you card I have made for the most recent items I have sold.

I saw a card similar to this one on my favourite site Pinterest and loved the colour combination. The colours used are Coastal Cabana, Basic Gray, Smokey Slate and Whisper White. These might be my go to colours for the year as I love them a lot!

This was my first play with the stamp set Chalk Talk. This was one of the sets that really captured my attention when I first saw the Annual Catalogue. Watch this space for more items using Chalk Talk!

Ruffled Ribbon Thanks

Don't you just love all the excitement when Stampin' Up! bring out their new Annual Catalogue each year? I love all the buzz it creates and the excitement of all the new products. One of the many products I'm excited about is the Ruffle Stretch Trim in the new In-Colours. It is just divine!

Here is a thank you card for my customers that attended my recent Catalogue Party. It was just a little thank you to them to say thanks for helping make my launch a huge success.

I can see I'm going to be using rolls and rolls of the trim! It is beautiful!

Soho Subway Launch Party Sample 1

I made quite a few different cards and items from my recent launch parties and over the newt few weeks I'll show some of them to you.

This card used the fabulous new Soho Subway DSP. I love the combination of these colours!

I used the stamp from the Hello Lovely stamp set. Instead of punching out the stamped image with the Decorative Label Punch, which it co-ordinates with, I punched it out with the new Artisan Label Punch which works too!

South Pacific SU Convention Make n' Take

In all my excitement and busyness of getting ready for my new Catalogue Launch Parties, I didn't show you any of the things we got to make at our Convention held in May.

This card used the Gorgeous Grunge Set and the Hello, Lovely set which we got at Convention.
The background is layers of all the different Gorgeous Grunge stamps which make for an interesting effect. It's so easy to do too!

Gingham Garden Samples

Who loves the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue? There is so much to love in it! I could get it all, I don't think my bank account will like that!

I've just finished 2 New Catalogue launch parties! Phew! One was with a few other demos and on I did on my own! They have been a lot of work but I think all the effort put into each has certainly paid off!

For both Launch Parties I used these few samples of cards and 3-d items made out of the beautiful Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper. A couple of ideas were CASEd but the rest were my own creations.

This is a sampler that I CASEd from Pinterest. I just love the colours and each individual square that shows something different.

Close up.

I love this stamp and co-ordinated embossing folder! Wildflower Meadow Stamp Set and Wildflower Meadow Embossing Folder.
Looks awesome when you colour the stamp with Stampin' Write Markers!

Last card! A simple one with some of the Gingham Garden DSP, some Bakers Twine, a Simply Press Clay Flower and a sentiment and your done!

ESAD Annual Catalogue Blog Hop

TODAY IS THE DAY! The new Annual Catalogue in the Australia and New Zealand starts today! I have see this catalogue for about a month now and have been hanging out to show you all! I LOVE IT!

To mark this fantastic occasion my lovely friends on the Facebook ESAD decided we should do a Blog Hop to showcase some of the new fantastic products.

What is ESAD?

ESAD
stands for "Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators" and it is an
on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin' Up!
demonstrators.

We love what we do & love to share with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors. We also share what we love in our ESAD Demonstrator community, through swaps, challenges, sharing knowledge, ideas & friendship, and we're always there to help and support each other.

So if
you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand,
leave me a comment with your Email address and I'll contact you with information on how to join our wonderful group .

You may have come here from Gail Kirby's blog or you have just started here. Either way you are in for a treat to see the creativity and imagination of myself and 24 other fellow Australian and New Zealand Stampin' Up! demonstrators. So grab a cuppa and get set for the hop!

I'm no.9 on the hop and I'm so glad you could join us!
I'm showcasing the stamp set Notable Notions (Pg 98) and the Designer Series Paper - Etcetera (Pg 153). I won both these items in the Prize Patrol along with the Essentials Hardware Clips (Pg 170) at our recent South Pacific Convention (so exciting). A few other new products will be making an appearance in my creations today, them being Very Vintage Designer Buttons (Pg 169) and Simply Pressed Clay (Pg 167).

So here is what I made...

I started with a gift bag. I CASEd this one slightly from the Annual Catalogue but it makes it easy to dress up a simple brown paper gift bag to make it something special.

Next are 5 cards using different ways to use the stamp set and the Designer Series Paper

Don't you love the vintage feel of the Designer Series Paper?

I really love the colour combination of this one - Baked Brown Sugar, Calypso Coral, Night of Navy and Pool Party.

I love the button sampler on this one. Those Very Vintage Designer Buttons are beautiful! And don't you love the little flower! That is made with the Simply Pressed Clay!

Lots of strips of the Designer Series Paper for some colour.

I'm loving those Hardware Clips too!

 Everything all together!

I hope you enjoyed what I had to show you in this hop. Click Here for Andrea's Blog, the next stop on our hop. I am sure you will find lots of ideas from Jenny to inspire you. In case you get lost or there are broken links just come back here for the full list of ESAD ladies taking part in this hop.
