Just Add Ink #765 | Colour Challenge

Hey there stamping friends! I'm here today with the Just Add Ink Design Team for the new Just Add Ink Challenge - Just Add Ink #765 | Colour Challenge. This week our colours have been suggested by Just Add Ink Design Team Member, Jan.

This week we are challenging you with the colours Lost Lagoon, Goreous Grape, and Highland Heather. A blue-green and some pretty purples. I've used the colours for a pretty floral card with some Alcohol Marker colouring which I haven't done for  while.

I've used the Lost Lagoon for all my card base layers adding some embossing with the Forever Plaid embossing folder and layer using the Perennial Postage Dies. On the Perennial Postage die cut I added some ink splatters and a pattern from the Metallic Textures Rub-Ons. I got these rub-ons a while ago but have only used them recently. They are super easy to add to any of your creations and they give that extra bit of wow without being too expensive or too messy. Well worth the purchase!

Once all the base layers were prepared and adhered to the card I then layered some of the Charming Day die cuts, the floral image from the Charming Day Stamp Set, Stylish Shapes Circle die cut, the embossed sentiment also from the Charming Day Stamp set, and then finished the card off with some ribbon, trim and embellishments.

I love how this card turned out and I hope that it gave you some inspiration for this colour challenge.

Will you be entering our challenge this week? We would love to see your take on our colours. Click the image below to be taken straight to this week's challenge.

Global Design Project #504 | #gdp504 | CASE the Designer Challenge

Hello stamping friends! I hope you are having a fabulous day! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Today, I'm playing along with the challenge over at the Global Design Project #504 | #gdp504 | CASE the Designer Challenge.

This week's challenge is to CASE the Designer, Mikaela Titheridge. Mikaela has an amazing crafting style. Her creations are always a WOW! She is always a source of crafty inspiration! No wonder she has been on the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team 3 times!

I was actually inspired by the layout and design of Mikaela's card and have used those elements for my card.

I loved the large rectangle that Mikaela had on her card. She used a die to die-cut hers, but I've just cut some cardstock and DSP with my Paper Trimmer to create some layers. I've also added some embossing using the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.

Where Mikaela has the three watercolour washes on her card, I've used DSP to incorporate those elements, and I've also placed some die-cut elements where Mikaela placed her sentiment.

It's amazing when CASE-ing someone and using similar design elements, how different the two cards can be.

I do hope that you enjoy my take on the Global Design Projects CASE the Designer Challenge. For the full list of all the products used, please refer to the product list below.

Just Add Ink #759 | Just Choose Two Challenge

Hello stamping friends. Happy Friday! I hope you are having a wonderful day. I'm here today with the Just Add Ink Design Team for the new Just Add Ink Challenge - Just Add Ink #759 | Just Choose Two Challenge. This week, our Just Choose Two Challenge has been suggested by team member Di.

Today for our Just Choose Two challenge (to choose two items to feature on your project), we are choosing from Trees, Beach, and Water. I've chosen Beach and Water for my card today. I originally wanted to do trees, beach, and water with a beachy Christmas themed card but my creative brain just wasn't having it so its just beach and water today.

I've used the Everyday Arches Dies to create an arched cutout, and then in that, I've created a cute little beach/ocean scene using torn cardstock for the water and the sand, sponged clouds and some of the dies from the Notes & Totes Dies. I love the CAS look to this card and then the little pops of colour with the 'waves' and the shells and starfish. I could have added more layers and things like dry embossing with embossing folders and ink splatters, but I really like the less-is-more approach to this card.

To keep that CAS look, I've finished off this card with some Clear Gems that are in the Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems and my all-time favourite and classic trim, Linen Thread.

I do hope that I've given you some inspiration for our Just Choose Two Challenge. Go and check out the design teams take on this week's challenge at the Just Add Ink Blog, and then come and join us for this week's Just Choose Two fun!

Global Design Project #503 | #GDP503 | Flowers Challenge

Hi there, stamping friends! Thanks for stopping here at my blog. Today, I'm playing along with the challenge over at the Global Design Project #503 | #GDP503 | Flowers Challenge.

Today I've made a pretty floral birthday card using some products from the Floral Impressions Suite, namely the Impressions Abloom Dies. I've made quite a few cards with these dies, you can check them out here, here, here, here and here. This suite is a stunning suite and perfect to use for the Global Design Project flower challenge.

I've started the card with a Basic White card base and then added an embossed Basic White layer embossed with the fantastic Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing folder. This embossing folder is so very versatile and goes with any project. I've then used the Everyday Arches Dies to cut an arched die-cut piece, and then this has been embossed with the Pressed Flowers Embossing folder. I love layering embossed pieces. The embossing gives that extra WOW element to your creations, and using more than one embossed layer gives your projects that extra special look.

I die-cut all the floral pieces in Basic White cardstock and then, using a blending brush, added the colour to each flower. Here I used Pretty in Pink, Fresh Freesia, Peach Pie, Bubble Bath, and Daffodil Delight. The flower centers were coloured with Pecan Pie.

I've finished the card off with some Gold Mesh Ribbon, Mossy Meadow & Gold Ribbon, Linen Thread, and Pretty in Pink & Strawberry Slush Gems. Super pretty and so florally!

I do hope that you enjoy my take on the Global Design Projects Flowers Theme and are inspired to use multiple layers of embossing on your next project.

Thanks for stopping by!

Come Artisan With Us Instagram Hop | 2025 Artisan Design Team

We love being your 2025 Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team! Hop along with us today to see our projects that were inspired by something we love about being an Artisan! And if you are a Stampin’ Up demo, you can apply now through June 30th to be on the 2026 team!

Here I've made a birthday folder/folio using products from the @stampinupofficial Floral Impressions Suite, which was one of the suites that was in one of my Artisan Design Team product boxes.  I wanted to have the birthday list of the 2025 Artisan Design Team decorated and made pretty in some sort of folder, and then somewhere to also have some cards ready to write and send for the next lot of birthdays. And that is what I've done here today!  It's fun to celebrate each Artisan Design Team Member throughout the year!

Being an Artisan is so much more than crafting (and free products 😉). It's support, inspiration, connection, creativity, a sense of community, celebrating each other, fun and most of all, lifelong friends! And once an Artisan, always an Artisan! If you're a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and have been thinking about applying, go for it! What do you have to lose? It's an amazing opportunity, an opportunity of a lifetime!

Time to keep hopping! Next up on our hop is Carina @inastempelt . You are sure to love her project, so make sure to show them some love!

Just Add Ink #753 | Sketch Challenge

Hello stamping friends. Happy Friday! I hope you are having a wonderful day. I'm here today with the Just Add Ink Design Team for the new Just Add Ink Challenge - Just Add Ink #753 | Sketch Challenge. This week, our sketch was designed by Just Add Ink Design Team Member Tristan Dawes.

It's a little bit of a different sketch, and I'm not fond of the current orientation, so I adapted the sketch a little to make it my own. I've used the new and beautiful Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape for my card today. I literally received a Stampin' Up! order yesterday morning and the washi tape was in the box so I had to play with it right then and there. It's so pretty! And it's super easy to use to make beautiful creations! Love that!

I've combined the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape with my new favourite Stampin' Up! colour - 2025 - 2027 In Colour Secret Sea. I love this colour! It's not black, it's not green, it's not navy, but it is all of those colours. It coordinates well with pinks, purples, greens, and golds.

To use the washi tape on your next creation, place a piece of the washi tape on a piece of Basic White and then use the Extraordinary Flora Die to cut out the floral pieces. Once the pieces have been die-cut, use them on your next creation. It's that simple!

While I have adapted the sketch, I've used most of the elements from the design of the sketch for my interpretation of this week's sketch.

Will you be entering our challenge this week? We would love to see your take on our sketch. Click the image below to be taken straight to this week's challenge.

Just Add Ink #749 | Just Choose Two Challenge

Hello stamping friends. Happy Friday! I hope you are having a wonderful day. I'm here today with the Just Add Ink Design Team for the new Just Add Ink Challenge -Just Add Ink #749 | Just Choose Two Challenge. This week our Just Choose Two Challenge has been suggested by team member Nikki.

Today for our Just Choose Two challenge (to choose two items to feature on your project) we are choosing from Circles, Cake, and Coffee. I don't have any crafting products that relate to coffee so it was circles and cake for this weeks challenge. When looking for cake crafting products I didn't have much of those either so I went for a bit of a dive into my retired crafting products and found the Piece of Cake stamp set that I think retired in about 2020. It also had a coordinating punch that punched out the cake stand and the cakes (separately). Was a super cute bundle. Do you remember it?

I've combined the retired stamp set with some current and soon to be released products that will be available for customers to purchase from 6th May 2025.

I've started the card with a Fresh Freesia base and some Fresh Freesia layers and then used the Perennial Postage die cut in Basic White to layer in between. The Basic White in between breaks up the colour and adds some more added interest and elements. On the top Fresh Freesia layer I've embossed it with the new Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder that will be a new Online exclusive on May 6th and then also added some Fresh Freesia splatters. So pretty and super fun!

Over the Fresh Freesia layers I've added some Country Woods DSP. This favourite will be returning in the new catalogue, so Yay! And then on this I've used some Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon and some Linen Thread. This Black & Very Vanilla will be retiring at the end of the current 2024-2025 Stampin' Up! catalogue. That will be one product that I will miss very much. I use it a lot 😢.

On the top I've added a die-cut circle that has been die-cut from the Floral Impressions DSP and then layered with a circle from the Foiled Frames & Labels Ephemera Pack. Both these products are also Online Exclusives to purchase 6th May.

I've finished off the card with the birthday cake that I've coloured with Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers and then added a heat embossed sentiment.

I do hope that I've given you some inspiration for our Just Choose Two Challenge. Go and check out the design teams take on this week's challenge at the Just Add Ink Blog and then come and join us for this week's Just Choose Two fun!

CASE-ing the Catty | #ctc513 | Case Beautiful Bokeh Suite pages 38-41

Hello Stamping Friends. Welcome to a super exciting CASE-ing the Catty Blog Hop. We at CASE-ing the Catty are about CASE-ing the samples from the Stampin' Up! Catalogues (Catty) with a different theme to CASE each week. To CASE is to Copy and Selectively Edit.

If you've come from Julia Quinn's blog welcome, if you've started here with me also welcome. It's so good to have you here.

This week we are CASE-ing the Stampin' Up! Beautiful Bokeh Suite that is found on pgs. 38 - 41 in the 2025 Jan - April Mini Catalogue. This suite lets the dappling light, fluttery butterfly wings, fun embellishments, and soft colours of the Beautiful Bokeh Suite Collection transform your paper crafts from ordinary to extraordinary! This suite is just what you need to create captivating gratitude, birthday, and all-occasion cards, scrapbook pages, gift tags, and more.

From the samples in the catalogue featuring this suite I've settled on this one today. I love the simplicity of the sample design with the three panels down the right hand side and then where the placement of the stamped images and sentiment are on the card is just perfect. I've then incorporated these things on my card for you today.

I've started off with a Basic White card base and then layered some embossed pieces of the new In Color - Strawberry Slush. If you are thinking that you've seen this colour before you would be right because this is a returning In Color. It was originally part of the 2013 - 2015 In Colors with Pistachio Pudding, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Canteloupe, and Baked Brown Sugar.

Now for the 2025 - 2027 In Colors Strawberry Slush is teamed up with Darling Duckling,Timid Tiger, Secret Sea, and Cloud Cover.

I love the bright look of the Strawberry Slush and I've combined it with some 2024 -2026 In Colors for some floral clusters in placement just like the original sample from the 2025 Jan - April Mini Catalogue. These flower dies from the Impressions Abloom Bundle are a sneak peek for you from some of the new products that will be available in May for some new Online Exclusive Products.

I've combined with the Impressions Abloom dies the Delightful Wishes stamp set and dies to finish the card off with a  beautiful sentiment. I've also finished off the card with a few Iridescent Pearls for some pretty embellishment.

Next up on the hop is the fabulous Peta Stephen Be sure to give her some CASE-ing the Catty Blog Hop love.

Rochelle Blok - You are here

We would love to have you join us over at our Facebook group to share your creation CASE-ing a project from the 2024 - 2025 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue and join in this week's challenge. You don't need to have a blog to join in.

Just Add Ink #743 | Sketch Challenge

Hello stamping friends. Happy Friday! I hope you are having a wonderful day. I'm here today with the Just Add Ink Design Team for the new Just Add Ink Challenge - Just Add Ink #743 | Just Add a Sketch. This week our challenge was suggested by Just Add Ink Design Team member Tristan Dawes

I've used the Delightful Wishes Bundle for my card today with a different colour combination for me. My card today uses Smoky Slate, Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, and Misty Moonlight. This card also started out very different to how it ended up. I had started with some stamping of the Mixed Florals Stamp Set on Fluid 100 Watercolor papr, coloured in the image with a Water Painter and Reinkers, and then die cut the images with the Stylish Shapes dies and it all looked wrong. Well I thought it did so it was back to the drawing board.

My next thought was the Delighful Wishes Bundle. I've started with Smoky Slate for the base of the card and then used one of the floral images to create a stamped boarder. These images are normally used as a layered stamp with two stamps to create the one image but I like using just the one image to create a boarder. Over this I used a blending brush to add a 'sponged' edge and then added some Smoky Slate ink splatter.

Next I've added some linen thread to the base layer and then layered the Stylish Shapes dies cuts and the Delightful Wishes floral dies. Its hard to see in the photo but I 'sponged' the edges of the flowers and leaves also using a Blending Brush.

I've finished the card off with some super cute Tiny Bee Trinkets and my favourite Linen Thread and Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon.

While I haven't kept exactly to the sketch I've used most of the elements from the design of the sketch for my interpretation of this weeks sketch.
