Hello stamping friends. Happy Friday! I hope you are having a wonderful
day. I'm here today with the Just Add Ink Design Team for the new Just Add Ink Challenge - Just Add Ink #722 | Sketch Challenge.
This week we have a fabulous sketch for you designed by fellow JAI team member - Lou Kitzelman.
I recently recieved in my Stampin' Up! order the super fun products from the Reindeer Days Suite that is found in the Stampin' Up! 2024 Sept-Dec Mini Catalogue. This suite is so fun and so cute and makes for some fabulous Christmas cards.
I've started the card with a Basic White base and added some Basic White die cuts for a Faux Embossed look. Faux Embossing is a fantastic way to add to your creations for that added something extra. Try it with other cardstock colours to incorporate into your creations.
I thought a fantastic contrast to the Basic White was the Real Red sheet from the Reindeer Days DSP. I cut up the DSP in strips and sponged around the edge of each of each strip with Real Red Ink. I then arrnged the strips like the sketch to create a fun DSP background.
I've then finished the card off with my current favourite ribbon - Pool Party Pom Pom Ribbon and then added the Spotlight on Nature cirle and the super fun Reindeer Fun Dies. Aren't they the cutest??!! The heat embossed 'Merry Christmas' comes from the Reindeer Fun Stamp set and is the perfect addition to finish off the card.
