Global Design Project 142 | #GDP142 | Sketch Challenge

Hey there stamping friends! After spending a good couple of days in the craft room after a short hiatus, I've managed to 'pump' out a few cards, playing with some of the new products that I recently purchased from the new 2018 - 2019 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. I'm also to playing along with this weeks challenge over at Global Design Project 142 | #GDP142 and it's my favourite type of challenge - a sketch challenge!! Whoop, Whoop!!

I've been playing with products from the super gorgeous Tropical Escape Suite from the new catalogue. This is one of the suites that I had to have every products from the suite and I couldn't wait to create with it all. Its gorgeous, its fun, it's summery, it's tropical, it's just and all round amazing suite!

I've layered some of the Tropical Chic images with the Stitched Labels Framelits Dies for a fun and eclectic look. I started the card with the two prints from the 6"x6" Tropical Escape DSP stack and then the card grew from there. I'm a real sucker for black and white and anything with pink and this DSP has all that as well as two new colours Shaded Spruce and Granny Apple Green. It's so gorgeous!!

How stunning is the Shaded Spruce colour??!! I'm not usually one to go ga-ga over greens but as soon as I stamped that large leaf in the Shaded Spruce I was like 'WOW'. It's deep and rich and I can see it being a real hit with those Christmas Creations for that traditional 'green' colour.

I just love the super gorgeous images from the Tropical Chic Stamp Set. They are taking me away to to those stunning islands in the South Pacific like the Cook Islands and making me wish I was there right now instead of this dreary, cold winters day that we have here in Melbourne.

Go and check out the stunning inspiration from the Global Design Project Team. There is lots of amazing creations and talent there and lots to be inspired by!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
