Festive Friday #31 Fathers Day Inspiration and New Catalaogue Sneak Peak

The Festive Friday Challenge over at Nicole Derendorf's blog is a Father's Day photo inspiration challenge. You take what inspires you from the photo and use it to make your card.

Here is the photo

And here is my card...

I loved the long horizontal lines on the building and also the colours that came out in the photo. I used the Stripes Embossing Folder to recreate the long horizontal lines and then picked out some of the colours from the photo. The stamp set is a 'Sneak Peak'  called Countryside from the New Annual Catalogue that starts 1st September. Perfect for those Father's Day cards.

Have Fun and Happy Stampin'

  1. Great card!! Like the combination of colours that you used from the inspiration picture and your juxtaposition of the two stamped images & lettering. Very clever!!
