JAI #239 Colour Challenge - Choose Happiness

This week over at Just Add Ink Challenge Blog it is a colour challenge. Its a beautiful combo that includes one of the new in-colours, some neutrals and GOLD! I am still loving putting gold on everything so when I saw this combo I just had to put something together
 
 
And this is my card!
 
 
 
 
All the stamped elements on my card come from a stamp set called 'Choose Happiness'. I've had this set for a while now and have put a lot of thought into how I wanted to use this set. I loved it when I first got it and then once I got it home I thought 'How am I going to use this one'?
 
 
 
Let me just say when making this card I remembered how much I really don't like 'fussy' cutting everything! LOL! Sometimes though it really does call for everything to be hand cut!

    This is beautiful, Rochelle. I especially love the gold-embossed border stamp on the vellum. Like you, I love this set, but feel a bit challenged when it comes to deciding how to use it!     This is such a lovely card! The sponged background is fantastic in bringing the whole card alive and I love the gold accents. I can't work out if you have stamped gold onto vellum or if it is a ribbon in the layer under the stamped sentiment, but it's lovely either way.

      Thank You Jan! I gold embossed on the vellum. That's one of my favourite things to do at the moment, emboss on vellum! I love it!
