This week on The Stamp Review Blog Hop we are using the stamp set Awesomely Artistic. Its is a stunning set to colour, emboss, use in a collage and be really creative with. It's just beautiful!
You may have joined me from fellow Aussie and most amazingly talented Jessica Williams or you may have started here with me. Either way you are in for a creative treat!
This is what is in the stamp set. It may not look like much but once you start putting some or all of the elements together you can have some beautiful creations.
What I have done today is embossed the flower image with gold embossing powder on vellum. I've then turned the vellum over and coloured it in from the underside with Stampin' Write Markers. This makes the colouring really easy and then you can be a bit quicker and not so 'neat' with the colouring because it doesn't matter too much if you go slightly over the line.
The 'hello' is from the Hello You Thinlits and then the 'friend' is embossed on vellum with gold embossing powder.
Here is just a closer look at the colouring. When colouring this way use a brighter colour. The vellum will give the colour a softer, muted tone and won't look so bright. If you use a soft colour you really won't be able to see it that well.
I've embossed the dragonfly image with gold embossing powder on the gold foil sheets. I really love the gold on gold look. It's just stunning.
And this one here
Thanks for stopping by. Next up on the hop is the very clever and super talented Shana Gaff. Be sure to leave a comment at each stop along the hop as we really love to know what you think of our creations.

DeleteGoodness - love the spray of flowers in gold especially combined with the gold thread behind the dragonfly. But I admit the white embossed flowers with the hint of pink simply steal the show for me. What a beautiful look; reminds me of a beautifully stitched fabric.
