Festive Friday #15 Challenge

I decided to partake in one of the many challenges that are out there in Blog land.  This is my first ever challenge and I'm really pleased with the card that I came up with for Nicole Derendorf's Festive Friday challenge - Mother's Day Theme
This challenge is a photo inspiration challenge. You can use the colours, the flowers, the vase, any part of this photo to inspire your creations:
And this is what I came up with:

The colours used are Garden Green, Wild Wasabi and Pretty in Pink. I do love a pink and green colour palette. It always turns out so pretty.
Thanks for looking and I hope that you are inspired to create something from this wonderful photo too!

Have Fun and Happy Stampin'

  1. Gorgeous card Rochelle!! I absolutely love the clear embossed medallion and the lovely sponging technique over it. :)

  2. This is beautiful, Rochelle. I love the way you've used the emboss-resist technique with these colours - fabulous! Congratulations on taking the leap and entering your first challenge; they are a LOT of fun!

  3. Beautiful card Rochelle! I have to second everything the Christine said. The emboss-resist looks beautiful and I also love green and pink together :) Thanks for playing along this week.
