CASE-ing the Catty | #ctc563 | Case-ing the Easter Joy Suite Pgs 34 - 37

 Hello Stamping Friends. Welcome to a super exciting CASE-ing the Catty Blog Hop. We at CASE-ing the Catty are about CASE-ing the samples from the Stampin' Up! Catalogues (Catty) with a different theme to CASE each week. To CASE is to Copy and Selectively Edit.

This week we are CASE-ing the super fun and super cute Easter Joy Suite found on pgs. 34 - 37 of the 2026 Stampin' Up! January - April Mini Catalogue.

So cute, right? Loving the pastel colours together!

 

This is the sample from this suite that caught my eye to CASE this week. I love the smaller top layer of DSP with the layering of different patterns underneath. Super fun! 

I've used some new products that will be coming out in the new Stampin' Up! May - August 2026 Catalogue. These products are from the Beautiful Ordinary Life Suite Collection. This suite is all about adding playful borders, labels, and accents to your scrapbooking layouts and cards. From bold silhouettes to cheerful pops of colour, each piece works together to bring out the beauty of everyday stories. Add ink, cardstock, and adhesive to complete your projects.

I've kept my card quite Clean and Simple today as I wanted the floral silhouette to be the main focus of the card. I love how it stands out agains the patterns of the DSP. I've layered it with some of the Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP and the used some of the dies from the Bordered in Beauty Dies to create a patterened border as well. I've finished the card off with some of the super pretty Array of Dots embellishments, also from the Beautiful Ordinary Life Suite, and my favourite and the ever trusty Linen Thread.

Just Add Ink #781 | Just Add Wings Challenge

 Greetings, fellow stamping enthusiasts! Happy Friday to you all! I trust your day is going splendidly. I'm excited to share my newest creation for the @justaddinkchallenges design team and their fresh challenge - Just Add Ink #781 | Just Add Wings Challenge. 

  This round, the theme is "Just Add Wings." Consider elements like birds, butterflies, aeroplanes, insects, or even chicken wings—anything that has wings!

For this vintage-themed butterfly birthday card, I had to dig through my crafting stash to find items from the Heirloom Arrangement Kit by @stampinupofficial - Shop for this kit HERE . I love this kit. It is a bit of an anything goes kit and you put the elements together the way you saw fit. There is a little bit of a loose plan you could follow but I liked placing the pieces together the way I wanted. Or if you wanted to try this sort of crafting, also try some of the ephemera packs that Stampin' Up! currently has on offer HERE.

Gather your supplies and join the fun! The challenge lasts for two weeks, giving you ample time to craft away!
