CASE-ING the Catty | #ctc555 | CASE a Template Pg.17

Hello Stamping Friends. Welcome to a super exciting CASE-ing the Catty Blog Hop. We at CASE-ing the Catty are about CASE-ing the samples from the Stampin' Up! Catalogues (Catty) with a different theme to CASE each week. To CASE is to Copy and Selectively Edit.

If you've come from Rochelle Laird-Smith's blog, welcome; if you've started here with me, also welcome. It's so good to have you here.

This week we are CASE-ing the templates found on pg.17 of the 2026 Stampin' Up! January - April Mini Catalogue.

Do you use the templates in the catalogues? I love the templates in both the Annual and Mini Catalogues. They are a fantastic tool and sometimes just the inspiration that you need to get creating. They really have helped me of late. I'm in a bit of a crafting slump at the moment and by having the templates as a source of inspiration they are just the thing I've needed to get those creative ideas flowing.

It's quite obvious which template I've used for my card today. I was inspired by the top left template but as I do with sketches/templates I've changed it up a little bit to suit my crafting style. I've used products from the 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar but you could use whatever products you wanted - new or retired, to recreate this card.

I love that with this card I've used products that were all either pre-printed/pre-embossed or already die-cut. I love these sorts of products ,like the ephemera packs, because it makes for quick crafting. You are only limited by your imagination in how you put them together. Instead of a square on the front of the card like the template I've used a rectangle card and then I've layered the rectangle differently to the square on the front. All round I've kept the basic design on the template, I've just given it a little 'Rochelle' spin.

Next up on the hop is the fabulous Julia Quinn.

We would love to have you join us over at our Facebook group to share your creation CASE-ing the Online Exclusive samples. You don't need to have a blog to join in.

Creative Love & Thanks Hop | 2025 Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team

We, the 2025 Artisan Design Team, want to give A HUGE THANK YOU to Cindy, Melody & everyone at the Concept Artists team, who helped us during our Artisan Year.
On Monday, the 15th of December, a box was delivered to the Stampin' Up! Home Office, with all our gifts! We will show them in this hop!

I've used the @stampinupofficial Brushed with Beauty Suite for my Thank You card. I was inspired by the amazing cards that the One Million Dollar in Career-to-Date sales achievers receive from Stampin' Up! to make my special Thank You card for the team. They help us in so many ways and almost jump over backwards for the ADT. An extra special card is what they deserve as a token of my appreciation.

I've made a type of fancy fold/gatefold card with a beautiful belly band to hold the card closed, and then once the card is opened, there is embellishment on the inside where the DSP flaps open from the top and the bottom to reveal a blank space to write a message.

Make sure you check out Ashley Van Camp @designwithink who created beautiful packaging for all our thank you goodies and an amazing banner too, for when she went to the SU Home Office to deliver all our goodies.

You surely don't want to miss anything in this hop, so here we go! Next up is Yvonne Spikmans - Van Bruggen @thecreativeteacup I'm a big fan of Yvonne's crafting style. I just love her work.
