Myself and 3 other Stampin' Up! demonstrators worked (tirelessly, I must add!) to create a beautiful display of the wonderful products for a local paper crafting show. I will do a post of the display next week but I wanted to show one of the things that I made for the show.
I found a beautiful light pink shadow box frame at a local stationary shop here in Australia, Typo, and was going to fill it with punched out butterflies. But when I got it home I thought why not fill it up with some beautiful roses made with the new Spiral Flower Die from the Occasions Catalogue.
Once I started cutting out the flowers I then though 'Wouldn't it be beautiful to create and ombre type effect with the flowers and graduate the colours'. So that's what I did!
I used 2 die cuts for each flower to make them look a little fuller. The colours that I used were Very Vanilla, Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, Primrose Petals and Rose Red. Once the show is finished it will make a nice decoration in my daughters room I think. I just love it!
