Hello there stamping friends! Happy Friday! Welcome and thanks for
joining me on my blog today. Today we over at Just Add Ink we have a fun filled challenge for you today with - Just Add Ink #710 | Just Add Party Fun.
Think party hats, streamers, balloons, cake, party decorations, bunting, lots of colour, anything party related.
I don't have any stamps at the moment with these type of images but I do have the Stampin' Up! Ephemera products that does have some fun party type imagery, so I've used that today for my party fun card.
I've started with a Shy Shamrock Base. That is a fun and bright colour and really co-ordinates with the Ephemera pieces that I've chosen for my card. Over the Shy Shamrock cardstock I actually opened up one of the envelopes from the Sunny Springs Mix & Match Cards & Envelopes and used that as "DSP". While the envelope was gorgeous as an envelope I really liked it better as "DSP".
When picking which ephemera pieces I wanted to use it was just a matter of finding ones that worked with the theme and having a play around as to where I wanted them positioned and what I thought looked good together. How cute are the dog and cat with their little party hat on? Too cute!
Once I had all the pieces together that I wanted I finished the card off with some retired Baker's Twine, some Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots, and the embossed Happy Birthday Sentiment.
The Mix & Match Ephemera are such a quick and easy way to get creating and with all the pieces that come in the packs you'll have lots of cards made before you know it.
