Colour INKspirations #207 - Guest Designer

Hello, stamping friends! I hope you’re having a fantastic day. I’m excited to share my latest project for the Colour INKspiration Challenge—they invited me to be a guest designer a few weeks ago, I couldn’t resist especially with that gorgeous colour combo! A big thank you to CI for having me, I'm so grateful to have been asked!

Colour INKspiration is a community for Stampin’ Up!® enthusiasts who enjoy sharing paper craft projects inspired by curated colour palettes. New colour combinations are posted in the Facebook group every second and fourth Wednesday at 5 pm (AEST/DT), with the Crew sharing their designs in the Crew Album to inspire participants. Anyone can join by uploading a photo of their project to Facebook and optionally linking to their blog. Check out the Facebook group HERE. Sounds fun, doesn't it?

Now on to the challenge colour combo!

Told you it was super pretty!

I've used the challenge colours to show some of the new products coming out in the new Stampin' Up! 2026 May - August catalogue. My main focus is the Mix and Match products, which I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! And the best thing with these products is that they coordinate with the colours for this challenge so it's a Win, Win in my book.

I've started the card with a layered Pool Party base and then used some of the DSP from the new Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP that will also be in the new catalogue. On the DSP I've added some Coastal Cabana Ink splatters for some added fun. I've used the Everyday Arches Dies and the Forever Plaid embossed folder on a piece of Bubble Bath cardstock for that fun 'pink' colour and then on the bottom of the arch I've added some scallop die cuts from the Bordered in Beauty Dies - also soon to be released.

Once all the layers were down it was now a matter of choosing which Mix and Match pieces I wanted of the card and then just playing around with each piece for the placement. I used pieces from the Under the Sun Mix & match Ephemera and Sincerly Noted Mix & Match Ephemera. I finished the card off with the ever fabulous and timless Linen Thread and some Array of Dots embellishments. All super fun and super pretty!

Thank you again Colour INKspirations for having me and I hope that I've given you some inspiration with the gorgeous challenge colours.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Happy Stamping!
